Do you know what your warrant is for or how much your bond is? Call us, and we will walk you through the fastest way to take care of your warrant.
How Warrants Work
What to Do If You Have an Active Warrant
A warrant is an order from a judge that allows police to arrest you. Warrants are usually issued when charges are filed against you or when you miss a court date. They don’t expire, and an arrest can happen anywhere: a traffic stop, at home or at work.
If you’re arrested on an outstanding warrant, you’ll be booked into jail and wait for a magistrate to set bail. Taking action early may give you more control over the process.

How does the bail bond process work in San Antonio?
How much does a bail bond cost?
In most cases, we charge a non-refundable fee of 10% of the total bail amount, as set by the court. We also offer flexible payment plans for qualified clients.
How quickly can someone be released from jail?
It depends on the facility and the charges, but typically within 2–8 hours after the bond is posted. Delays can occur during high-volume periods or if there are additional holds on the defendant.

Yes. We handle a wide range of charges including Theft, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, Drug Charges, Robbery, DUI/DWI, and Domestic Violence.
Can I get a bail bond at any time?
Absolutely. We are available 24/7, including weekends and holidays, because arrests don’t happen on a schedule.
What happens if I miss court?
Missing a court date usually leads to a new warrant and can put your bond at risk. Call us right away. The sooner we know, the more we can do to help you get back on the court’s schedule.
Can I turn myself in with a bond already arranged?
If you know you have a non-violent active warrant, want to avoid jail, and would like to remove the warrant, then a satellite bond office might be a good option for you. This option will help you avoid the Bexar County Jail and is an 8 to 24-hour process. After an arrest, a judge sets a bail amount. If you can’t afford the full amount, a licensed bail bond agent (like us) can post bail on your behalf for a percentage of the total—usually 10%. This allows your loved one to be released from jail while awaiting court.
Getting a loved one out of jail doesn’t have to be overwhelming. At Amigo Bail Bonds, we make the process quick and easy.
